All I Need Is You - Hillsong

I heard thing song a few years ago and just can't get enough of it.  It continually ministers to me.  All I Need Is You...such a simple line yet our choices in life make it so complicated.  We need to continually stretch out our arms and run to daddy.  We have to constantly remind ourselves that He is REALLY All that we need yet we get caught up in so much and so many things that distract us from Him.  Take a minute, quiet yourself, play the song and let Him minister to you.  He is REALLY All we need.  Blessings!

Lord, Save Us From Your Followers

I was randomly flicking channels one late evening and happened upon an interesting show.  I watched the remainder of the show and then had to order the video.  The show an informative discussion regarding a new documentary called, Lord, Save Us From Your Followers.

It was Don Merchant's desire to find out why the gospel of love had become so devisive.  He dons a bumper sticker suit and traveled around America trying to get people's read on this thing called Christianity.  He had some very interesting findings and some very interesting facts that he revealed.

I also found on-line his Bible Study Guide which included the notes from this movie.  In the least I would encourage you to read through the Bible Study Guide notes and hopefully you will take the time to find a copy of the movie to view it for yourself.  It was very thought provoking and full of grace.

Once Upon A Marriage

Most of know that divorce is a real problem in our country and that most of us have been effective by the trauma divorce can bring.  A friend of mine told me of this teaching that she had found on LifeChurchTV and it was such a great teaching on marriage and relationships that I had to share it.

I listened to the whole series and really enjoyed it and could laugh at things and cry at other things.  It was really easy to listen to and full of information to build a better relationship with your mate, your future mate or even come to terms with relationships that you find yourself in now.

Eyjafjallajokull - Volcano

Many people are saying that God is causing all this destruction that we are currently seeing in the world.  From Hurricane Katrina, to earthquakes like in Hatti and now Eyjafjallajokull, this volcano eruption in Iceland.  It is true the earth is groaning....Rom 8:18- 25 tell us so:

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.  And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

But I know God is only capable of good so therefore bad cannot come from something that is totally good.  Bad things happen, but not because of a good God.  It is true all things pass before the thrown of God but He is bound by His Word.  Man caused evil to enter the world...not God.  Man is the reason for bad in the world...not God.

With that, I thought you would be moved to see the impact this volcano has had.  The link will show you incredible photos of the situation.  Simply overwhelming and breathtaking.  What a massive situation beyond our human comprehension.  There is nothing to do but get out of the way.

What If My People Pray

This is a great song to help move us toward prayer.  It is only prayer that is going to heal our land.  People are aware there are issues now in our nation, our govenment, our churches, our families, our lives but what are we going to do about it?  Pray.  We need to pray.  Lord help us to do our part!   What If My People Prayed

Million Dollar Bill

Recently in a federal district court, a judge ruled in favor of Darrel Rundus, founder and president of Great News Network, Inc who had filed suit stating that Federal Agents had violated the Fourth Amendment by conducting a warrantless search and seizure of his property.

See, back in June of 2006, Secret Service agents showed up at GNN's offices in Denton, Texas.  GNN had made a Million Dollar Bill and were distributing it as a witnessing tool which was produced by Ray Comfort and Living Waters.  On the bill was GNN's address so the Fed's knew where to find them.  Also on the bill were the phrases, "This bill in not legal tender" and  "Tho Shalt Not Steal".

Why, you ask, would the Fed's care about these bills? Because, they told a GNN employee, the bill (see image) they were circulating was in violation of federal law and they were there to seize all the bills.  The agents threatened arrest of the employee if he didn't hand over the Million Dollar Bills.  Seems some bank in North Carolina got the feds involved.  It is still unclear why the bank got involved as the Judge noted that no one tried to pass the bill as real money.

Rundus was not at the office at the time the agents showed up but spoke to the agents via telephone and he told them that they needed a search warrant or a court order before he would turn over the bills.  The agents said they didn't need those because the bills were contraband.

According to the U.S. Treasury, it is illegal to duplicate and make copies that are comparable to existing currency with the intent to commit fraud.  Rundus argued that since there is no REAL Million Dollar Bill it was not illegal for them to create one and distribute it.

What is ridiculous is that we are even having to waste court time on this matter.  Doesn't the Department of Homeland Security have anything better to do than this?  Seems ridiculous and borders on harassment of Christianity.

An estimated 8 million plus Million Dollar Bill Gospel Tracts have been sold by Living Water and have been handed out over the last 10 years.   GNN has distributed over one million of these.  May the gospel continue to be preached even when the law seems to target the bringers of Good News.

I'll Just Worship - Tony Sutherland

God just directs me to incredibly lifting teachings, writings and music on this wonderful tool that we call the Internet.  I was so blessed by this song and so therefore I have to share it.  This song, "I'll Just Worship" is a song that brings me to the presence of the Lord almost instantaneously.  I see myself running into His presence and all the cares of life just melt away.

This is Tony Sutherland performing his song on the set of Babbie's House.  Can't help but think of my brother Pat as I watch Tony sing.  If my brother was a public singer, he would worship like Tony.  Pat was a wrestler so he is built like Tony and Pat has that same cute bounce when he sings, dances or when he just has a little perk in his step.  When Pat has that gate in his step, you know good things are going on.

I don't know Tony nor have I ever seen the show called Babbie's House but I know Tony sings of the God I KNOW!  Can't you see the truth that He sings about.  Just like Pat, you see it in his step.

Isn't God so cool to reveal His loving faithfulness to all of us, as we ask.  He is worthy and I will just worship Him!  Enter into His presence....He is FAITHFUL ALWAYS!
